Facebook can be a tricky platform when it comes to organic reach. Many people will say it’s now a “pay-to-play” platform, and in many ways this is true. However, organic reach on Facebook isn’t totally dead and there are still a lot of tactics you can use to reach your audience organically.
Facebook Stories
The use of stories is somewhat newer to Facebook and can be effective in regards to organic reach by boosting engagement. Similar to Instagram stories, when you share stories to Facebook you also have the option to add stickers such as including a location tag, donation, polls, questions, comments, and music. These can spruce up your story content and increase your organic marketing by encouraging people to interact with your content more.
Text Colored Background Posts
Another tactic that I have tried using with clients of my own has been using text-based posts with generated colorful backgrounds. It’s best to keep the text short and try asking simple questions that encourage a quick, and easy response from your followers.
Facebook Reels
You can now share your Reels from Instagram to Facebook, and just like Instagram, it’s a great way to increase your reach beyond your current followers. With the rise of TikTok, Facebook understands these videos are more entertaining and addicting, keeping viewers on their platform longer. So, try sharing Facebook Reels to boost your organic reach.
Facebook is still the largest social media platform, so don’t sleep on it just yet! These are just a few tactics that I’ve found have helped boost my client’s organic reach on Facebook. Give them a try and let me know how they work for you!
