The backstory

A beautiful property in a crowded season

Martis Valley Lodge had a strong product, a beautiful property and a desirable location near Lake Tahoe. Like many hospitality brands, they were competing for attention during one of the most competitive booking seasons of the year.

The goal wasn't simply more followers or engagement. They wanted social media to become a measurable revenue channel that could help fill rooms during their winter booking window, while protecting the premium feel of the Hilton brand.

That meant building a campaign around one thing: converting travelers into guests.

the honeypot strategy

From inspiration to reservation

Compelling creative, highly targeted advertising and a frictionless booking experience, all designed to drive qualified traffic that books directly with the hotel.

01

Purpose-driven creative

Instead of simply showcasing rooms, we focused on the feeling of a winter getaway, from cozy evenings after skiing to relaxing family vacations.

02

Conversion-focused paid ads

Using Meta advertising, we targeted high-intent travelers throughout California who were actively planning winter trips, with a limited-time winter offer that created urgency while staying on-brand.

03

Booking-focused journey

Every ad led to a simple, seamless booking experience with clear calls to action and minimal friction between discovering the property and reserving a room.

The creative mix

High-quality photography, engaging video and branded graphics showed the property from every angle and kept the campaign fresh across every touchpoint.

The results

With only $477 in ad spend, the campaign produced nearly $35,000 in direct bookings.

Strategic creative paired with smart targeting can dramatically outperform bigger budgets. Rather than chasing vanity metrics, every dollar was focused on measurable business outcomes.
